The national language of the Philippines is Filipino. Where did the Filipino language came from? It came from the place Baler where Manuel L. Quezon (Father of National Language) grew up. From this place was the beginning of the determination of every Filipinos to achieve unity. Manuel Quezon was fully determined to have our own language and he fought for that. Moreover, because of him, we have our own language and we should be thankful for his accomplishment.

The Filipino Language is vital for the success and development of our country. It serves as a tool or instrument for us, Filipinos, to have unity and to be able to understand each other very well wherever part we may be in our country. With the existence of our own language, we can express our thoughts and feelings.

Therefore, we should love, respect, and be proud of the Filipino Language. Because, there’s no more important to person than to have the freedom to express his/her self wherever he/she may be, through the use of his/her own language.
